Nice site, but the missing "link" on the home page is where in the world is Cox Meadows. The only direct clue is, the default in weather link shows Phoenix, and some searching deeper shows 602 phone numbers, then deeper there are other clues, but it takes a will and a want to find. I am sure it is there, but at first glance, I did not see where in Phoenix, Cox Meadows Neighborhood Block Watch is (I know where it is, but it would be informational if it were on your home page ;-).

Hey everyone. I just wanted to let you all know that we got a new roof today. We signed our papers on Jan 20th.. 8 days later they are putting on my roof and almost done with it in 1 day. Excellent service and looks great! Let me know if you need a new roof and I will give you info!!

There is a meeting tomorrow evening (Jan. 18) at Shooters World from 6 to 8 for to update up date us on their ideas of wher ethey feel the PNP program should be headed and to introduce the new city wide PNP co-ordinator. Does anyone plan to attend?

One more thing. Don't hesitate calling 911 immediately if someone knocks on your door in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. We now have a reason to believe it could be someone up to no good.

One of our neighbors called me this morning to report an attempted burglary at her home at 4:00 am this morning. Police were called and arrived while the burglars were still on the property. They fled over the back fence and sped away in a car parked on the side street. There was a 'small man' who held a small penlight for the 'small, round faced asian looking woman' who was trying to pick the locks or somehow disable the lock. every single lock was secured and they were denied entry but they tried multiple doors. the whole episode started with a knock on the front door at 3:30 am which was thought by the homeowner as 'wrong address' so no call was made to the police at that particular time. when police were eventually called after security lights turned on and figures were seen by the homeowner, police did arrive in minutes. please be on the lookout and keep your doors and windows locked, dogs fed, security lights ready, etc..

It is a lot easier to access the Google (back office) facility from a regular browser rather than a mobile device. Now we can use the calendar feature to publish a block watch calendar on any web page, and provide email addresses for official block watch business.

I'm impressed Andrea that you were able to get a link to the Google site that was used for the old website. I hope that means that it will be possible to use the email addresses, documents storage and calendar as well. They are sure handy especially for facilitating block watch and PNP type activities.
We are still looking for 1 or 2 more volunteers for Saturday 8/14 at 7am.
